On the 11th of June 2024, one day after the departure of a large group of Undergraduate students from Tokyo who had spent 10 days at Sangsuri, our 8-week renovation work at Sangsuri started.

Approximately 50 staff members from 6 different contractor companies will be working for a duration of 8 weeks at Sangsuri to improve many areas of our three Villas.

Our own staff - most of them are working for Sangsuri full-time since many years - will also take over some of the smaller tasks such as deep cleaning of the Terrazzo floor, simple paint jobs and much more.

In total there are more than 60 different projects with an investment level approaching U$ 400.000 to be completed over the next 8 weeks. Some of these projects for each villa are listed in the tables below.

We are confident that all the projects can be completed on time. In case of bad weather conditions, we would have to postpone some of these projects to a later date to ensure that the villas will be ready for the arrival of our next guests early August.
